I love my host family(Kretschmer) thank you so much! I came the 27th of June and my host sisters school has allredy closed. But i went with her to school for two days! Its soooo pretty here.

Great time in South Africa - Thank you! Hello Suzanne, hello Nicole, i am really sorry for writing so late. Thank you so much for sending us these E-Mails. Everthing is just great here in South-Africa ...I do not regret the choice of coming here at all. The reason for my delayed writing is the business and work at school. It is really a lot, but it may sounds strange---i love every day of spending in school and enjoying the time with my school mates. The school demands a lot, because of all the extra curricular activities and the sport after lessons. Today, for example, I had a hockey match as well, so that i am quiet tired after all the work throughout the week. I slept from yesterday to day over at a friend´s house, because we had to work for our "Science-Expo" project. Moreover, I have to write all the test, too, and I already wrote a few and a creative writing exam in English. The following week is probably hard as well, because I am writting two tests on Monday and on the weekend I am probably going to Soweto, where we stay at a friend´s house. Besides, I love doing community service...it is so fulfilling and the people i met are so open and interested it fills my heart with love to see how happy people are, altough they do not have anything at all...it is so respectable and i am asking myself, why we are so unthankful, although we have anything and want in the most cases even more. I am still not used to the poverty i am seeing in this country...it is so sad and i am happy to help whereever i can...it is just wonderful and i have here opportunities i would never have in Germany or europe... I love being here and it is a pity that the time past so quickly, i would actually like to stay longer here. My host family is wonderful as well. Everyone helps me a lot and i am glad to stay with so friendly and helpful people. It seems that they are also very happy to have me here, because the y said, i was fitting in easily and that is true...i feel very ease and very comfortable with everything here and therefore i love spending my time in this beautiful country.
